As part of its Renewal and Refurbishment Service, PEMS restores and upgrades vacuum sizing tanks and cooling tanks used in pipe extrusion lines, ensuring performance equivalent to new machinery.

PEMS provides dual or single vacuum chamber sizing tanks for pipe extrusion with diameters ranging from 10 to 1000 mm, available in single or dual strand configurations.
Each unit is fully overhauled and recalibrated:

• Stainless steel chambers are reconditioned and mounted on a reinforced steel base, equipped with automatic or manual systems for longitudinal and transversal positioning along the extrusion line.

• The water circulation system is renewed with thermostatic and valve controls to minimize water use and maintain a stable cooling temperature.

• Spray sprinklers, assembled on stainless steel bars, deliver water under pressure with an adjustable spray angle, ensuring uniform cooling.

• The filtration and recirculation circuit is cleaned and upgraded to prevent clogging and extend service life.

• Electrical and motorized components are tested, restored, or replaced to guarantee precise longitudinal movement and stable operation.

PEMS also renews cooling tanks for corrugated and smooth pipes, including:

• Cooling tanks for corrugated PE and PP pipes (diameters from 40 to 1200 mm), designed to provide constant and uniform cooling while preventing pipe deformation. A ventilation system cleans and dries the pipe as it exits the cooling chamber.

• Cooling tanks for smooth PVC, PE, and PP pipes (diameters from 10 to 1000 mm, lengths from 6 to 9 meters). These include stainless steel water collection tanks and spray sprinklers mounted on adjustable bars. A pump-driven water system ensures continuous circulation, while a separation filter cleans and recycles the water to prevent nozzle clogging.

All renewed tanks feature stainless steel inspection hatches positioned on the operator side for easy access and maintenance.

Each system is delivered fully tested, guaranteeing reliable, efficient, and long-lasting operation.
